At the PRF Institute (www.prfministry.org), financial freedom and empowerment are at the core of our mission. Millions of Americans suffer under the burden of various debt types, which prevent them from living abundant lives. Studies show1 that medical debt has scaled to the top as the major contributor of debt in America today. Over the past few years and in the wake of COVID-19, many families and individuals have succumbed to crippling financial challenges that many have been unable to bounce back from. Alabama’s poverty rate (15.5%) ranks seventh2 in the nation, so we decided to take action where it matters most. Here’s one reason why we are partnering with RIP Medical Debt:
Bullock County has a 30.8% poverty rate (highest in the State), followed by Perry County (30.7%). Greene County (27.9%) sits fifth in the State, followed by Dallas County (26.7%), where Selma sits in the heart of the state and was one of the hardest hit cities by the recent tornadoes; then Barbour County (25.5%) sits seventh in the State. Although Montgomery County (20.4%), the home of our capital, sits in the sixteenth position, we found that it has the highest amount of medical debt.
We know first hand that many of those we serve are plagued by past-due bills, debt collections, and derogatory credit due to medical debt. As a ministry first, we at the PRF Institute want to demonstrate our love for Christ, regardless of your faith belief, by showing love to those who need it most and in ways they can see and feel relief from NOW! Please consider donating today to remove the bondage of debt for those who are seeking FINANCIAL FREEDOM.
Will you help us eliminate at least $1,000,000 worth of medical debt within one month!
We pray you join us in our efforts to help transform the economic transformation of 200,000 people over the next 7 years – it starts with YOU. This is the first of three campaigns for 2023.

How RIP Works
Over a hundred million Americans, one in three, struggles with the weight of medical debt.
-
You make a donation
We use data analytics to pinpoint the debt of those most in need: households that earn less than 4x the federal poverty level (varies by state, family size) or whose debts are 5% or more of annual income.
-
RIP buys medical debt at a steep discount
We buy debt in bundles, millions of dollars at a time at a fraction of the original cost. This means your donation relieves about 100x its value in medical debt.
-
Together we wipe out medical debt
People across the country receive letters that their debt has been erased. They have no tax consequences or penalties to consider. Just like that, they’re free of medical debt.
